Where Is This? is a pin-drop party game for a room full of phones and one big screen. Ten photos of places in Taipei and around Taiwan, from a famous mountain viewpoint to an underground mall exit, appear one at a time. Everyone drops a pin where they think the photo was taken. Then the answer lands on the map, everyone's pins drop together, and the map zooms in to show who got closest, and whose guess ended up in the wrong city. Taipei photos use a Taipei map with its rivers and red MRT line; the rest use a map of Taiwan.
How to play Where Is This?
The host creates a private game and shares the link or QR. Everyone readies up; the host starts each round.
Each round shows one photo. Tap the map to drop your pin, pinch or use + to zoom, and drag to look around. Press CONFIRM PIN to lock it; it cannot change after that. You have 30 seconds.
Distance is measured in metres from the exact spot. Closest earns 100 points; the rest earn points by rank, so everyone stays in the game. Equal distances share points. No pin scores zero. Most points after ten rounds wins; a final tie shares the title.
The host may play or host only. Late arrivals watch until the next match.
One player can ready up and start every round. Solo is a tryout: see your answer, accuracy and points without entering multiplayer records. Valid solo accuracy answers earn 100 points; missed or invalid answers earn zero.
