Fintech World is a sunny little multiplayer hangout disguised as a 3D browser game. Picture a low-poly tropical island the size of a postcard: palm trees, thatched huts, beach umbrellas, a wooden dock with a rowboat, and one very enthusiastic islander who cannot wait to tell you about the new arcade machine under the gazebo. Pick a nickname, click Enter World, and you are strolling the sand within seconds, no download and no account. Friends who open your invite link appear beside you as cheerful characters with floating name tags, each in their own color. The island's one quest is a charming one: chat with the local, wander to the arcade, scan its QR code, and complete a playful mock payment on a simulated smartphone using the fictional services PAYWALLET and PAYDIRECT. It is a gentle, hands-on demo of how paying from a browser feels, wrapped in vacation weather. Built with React, Three.js, and React Three Fiber, and best enjoyed with the beach music toggled on.
How to play Fintech World – Multiplayer 3D Browser Game
There is nothing to lose and nobody to beat here. The island is a stroll, not a contest.
Getting in:
- Type a nickname (up to 12 characters) and click Enter World.
- Click Invite friends to copy the room link. Anyone who opens it lands on the same island with you.
Moving around:
- Walk with the arrow keys or WASD. The camera follows behind you on its own.
- The sound toggle turns the beach track on or off. Music starts muted, and turning it on is worth it.
The island tour:
1. Find the islander in red near the welcome sign and walk up for a chat. They will fill you in on the new arcade game.
2. Head to the gazebo, where the arcade machine lives. When you are close enough, a Scan button appears.
3. Scan the QR code to open the simulated phone, then follow the mock top-up: 10 coins, pick a payment method, and enjoy the Payment completed screen. No real money is involved anywhere, it is a scripted demo with fictional brands.
4. After that, the agenda is yours: walk the dock, count the palm trees, wave your nickname at friends.
Notes: there is no text chat, no score, and no fail state. Bring a friend or three and treat it like a five minute beach break.
