How to play Circus Clash
Draft. Pick one of four balanced troupes — three performers, always three different roles and three different folk. One reshuffle.
Open the act. Before each bout both circuses secretly name who goes first, with 30s to decide. Leave it and one of the three is drawn at random.
Fight. Both pick a skill each round; higher Agility acts first. Defensive skills land before attacks. Silence and cramp land 70% of the time, not always. At 0 Life Points a performer faints and you send in the next.
Folk beat folk. City ▸ Village ▸ Mountain ▸ Wood ▸ City. Along the arrows a skill hits for 1.5×; against them 0.5×. Nomad is neutral. Matching your own folk hits 15% harder.
Attack types. Physical scales on ATK, blunted by DEF · Magic on MAG, blunted by MDF · Control does light damage plus silences, cramps and permanent stat cuts · Defensive deals none and resolves first.
Flurries. Each blow rolls its own chance: two land both; three go 100/75/40%; four and five go 100/80/50/33/25%.
Between bouts. Life points refill before every battle. Usage points only return after every second battle, and before the final.
The seven acts. Muscle Man guards · Clown bleeds you out · Acrobat evades then dives · Magician silences · Director debuffs permanently · Fire Breather hits hardest · Escape Artist moves first and opens any guard against magic.
Languages: EN / DE at the top.
WHAT'S NEW
• [feature] Every act is now cast as a man or a woman, with a sprite and a name that match — fourteen new sprites in all, and German names the part properly.
• [feature] Every act carries a trait that is always on: the Acrobat slips a blow, the Clown can leave you laughing on the floor, the Fire Breather sometimes afterburns, and four more.
• [fix] The ring now starts empty and each act walks on as it is announced, instead of both standing there before the bout begins.
